A Moonlight Serenade On The Queen Mary 2 DVD


Surrounded by a room of ballroom dancers and backed by a 15-piece orchestra, Carly Simon taped two nights of concerts on the Queen Mary 2 in early September of 2005. The six-day voyage onboard the most famous ocean liner in the world was documented for the DVD by veteran concert filmographer Jim Gable, and also includes behind the scenes footage and an acoustic set performed with daughter Sally Taylor. Recorded in HDTV and 5.1 Surround Sound, the DVD has been released on Columbia Records on November 22nd and portions of this unique experience will air on PBS this December.
