New
Carly Simon Album - In Stores Now

Carly
released a new album entitled This Kind Of Love
on the Starbuck's label (Hear Music) on April 29, 2008.
This will be her first album of all original music since
2000.
 Inspired
by and subtly infused with the rhythms of Brazilian
music, This Kind of Love explores a wide swath
of emotion-romance, reflection, melancholy, anger and
humor. It's at once one of Simon's most personal albums
as well as one of her most stylistically diverse outings.
The
CD is co-produced by Simon, Frank Filipetti and Jimmy
Webb and features 13 tracks.

In Concert - Miami - May 16th
 Carly
will be performing a benefit concert for the Charlee
Program in Miami, FL on May 16th. Tickets will be
available to purchase beginning April 25th at Ticketmaster
and the Charlee

The
performace will be held at the beautiful and historic
Gusman
Center in downtown Miami. The Charlee Program provides
exceptional services to abused, abandoned, and neglected
children. Their vision is to restore a hopeful and safe
future for children and their families.

Simon Sisters - The Kapp Recordings - Limited Edition

 Before
Carly Simon began a career as a solo recording artist,
she and her sister Lucy made several albums together
as The Simon Sisters. The first two albums
(The Simon Sisters and Cuddlebug)
were issued by Kapp Records in the mid 60's. Recently,
the original master recordings were unearthed in a warehouse
and have been exquisitely remastered for this CD.
Hip-O-Select
is exclusively offering this double album CD set as
a Limited Edition Classic - with a total of 25 tracks.
Only 4,000 of these CD's have been printed, and then
it will go out of print. A 12 page booklet is included,
with liner notes written by Carly.
